Role Overview
AI81Works is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong technical leadership to design, develop, and scale the AI91™ platform. The successful candidate will lead key initiatives working closely with technology partners including Microsoft, Quaeris, and others, to deliver best-in-class AI capabilities. This role requires proven team lead experience, proficiency in Python and other programming languages, and mandatory expertise on the Azure technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of core AI and data science components of the AI91™ platform.
Collaborate with external vendors and technology partners such as Microsoft and Quaeris for platform integration and performance optimization.
Architect scalable solutions leveraging Azure cloud services, including Azure Synapse, Azure ML, and others.
Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models to support executive search, data analytics, and advisory functions.
Mentor and lead a team of data scientists and engineers through project planning, development, and delivery stages.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained across the platform.
Stay current with AI/ML trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance platform capabilities.
Work cross-functionally with product, advisory, and executive teams to align AI developments with business objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles with demonstrated senior or team lead responsibility.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with other programming languages such as R, Scala, or Java.
Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, including experience with Azure Synapse, Azure ML, Azure Databricks, and related tools.
Proven experience working with technology vendors and managing third-party integrations.
Solid understanding of AI/ML algorithms, data engineering, and scalable distributed architectures.
Experience in building platforms or products in a commercial or enterprise environment is highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
