Role Overview
AI81Works is seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate to join our executive search practice. The ideal candidate will bring extensive recruiting and executive search experience, preferably garnered from both boutique search firms and larger global firms (including Big 5). This role will focus on managing the end-to-end search lifecycle for senior Data & AI leadership appointments, driving client satisfaction, and contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle executive search projects, including candidate sourcing, assessment, and placement for Data & AI leadership roles.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their strategic leadership needs and delivering tailored search solutions.
Develop a robust pipeline of high-quality candidates through research, networking, and direct sourcing techniques.
Collaborate with partners and leadership to create search strategies and marketing materials aligned with client objectives.
Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and evaluations to assess fit for roles and cultural alignment.
Ensure timely and transparent communication with clients and candidates throughout the search process.
Support business development efforts by identifying client needs and participating in proposals and presentations.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging Data & AI leadership profiles.
Mentor and support junior team members in research and recruitment activities.
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in executive search or senior recruitment roles.
Experience recruiting for Data, Analytics, AI, or technology leadership positions is highly desirable.
Background including work at both boutique search firms and larger global firms (Big 5 or equivalent) preferred.
Strong network within the Data & AI talent landscape and a demonstrated ability to source and engage top executive candidates.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple searches simultaneously.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity dealing with confidential information.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
